Align-A is an AI-powered recruiting platform focused on consent-first practices. This conversational AI recruiter conducts structured interviews with candidates while maintaining full compliance with GDPR & CCPA regulations, hence ensuring data privacy. The tool allows employers to post job descriptions, which the AI understands in context. Candidates are then able to call in and complete a conversational interview. The interaction between the AI and the candidates is natural, aiming at reducing the robotic feel. Align-A offers constant availability, screening candidates at any time of the day. A unique feature of this tool is its consent-first voice AI that secures spoken consent in the initial part of the interview. In case of refusal, the process goes into a notes-only mode. The platform also provides structured interview data by using Azure OpenAI to determine competencies and risk flags and to highlight valuable insights in real-time. The 'Smart Match & Rerank' feature stores information as embeddings in Postgres/pgvector and uses GPT for reranking top candidates with match scores. The entire process is marked by transparency, including consent logs and deletion APIs incorporated into every workflow, ensuring candidates' privacy.
